Botanicals you will see on men's supplement labels
Four names come up again and again in Indonesian retail. Each cell below covers what the botanical is, where it shows up, and what it realistically belongs to.
Pasak bumi
Eurycoma longifolia · capsule and blend format
An Indonesian plant with a long history of traditional use, and one of the most recognised names in local men's wellness products. You will find it in capsules and in herbal blends, often alongside ginseng or maca. It appears in products framed around maintaining daily stamina rather than any specific health use.
Ginseng
Extract · amounts vary widely
The most internationally recognised botanical in this category, showing up in daily multivitamins as well as standalone formulas. It is usually listed as an extract, and the amount per serving varies widely between products. Because ginseng appears so often, its presence on a label tells you less than the quantity — check the serving size before you read meaning into the name.
Maca
Root · usually a blend partner
A root used in supplement blends, often paired with ginseng or pasak bumi in vitality-oriented formulas. It travels well into capsule format, which is part of why it is common. Its inclusion is usually part of a blend rather than the headline ingredient, so read the whole panel rather than the front of the bottle.
Saw palmetto
Targeted formula anchor
The botanical anchor in targeted formulas, including Naturelo's Prostate & Urinary Health supplement, which names it directly. It sits in a different category from daily multivitamins because it is used for a specific purpose rather than broad coverage. If you see it on a label, the product is probably a targeted formula, so read the intended-use line carefully.
